January is always my time when I refocus my attention on my health. There’s no doubt that I let myself indulge in a few extra treats over the holidays (no regrets! 😋) but I also love the feeling of getting back into a proper routine and paying attention to my diet! I’m excited to share with you 4 delicious Greek yogurt bowls that you will be making again and again — they are the perfect way to start the morning off right and/or power you through that mid-day slump!

Greek yogurt has been one of my favorite foods for years now. FUN FACT: I actually had a consultation with a dietician almost a decade ago, and one of the key takeaways was to incorporate more Greek yogurt to my daily meals. Not only does Greek yogurt pack a punch when it comes to protein (nearly twice as much protein as regular yogurts!), but it would also provide healthy probiotics to help with bloating and digestion. fa*ge was the first Greek yogurt brand that I tried and I absolutely fell in love with the thicker, creamier texture along with the slightly tangy taste!

fa*ge is changing the Greek yogurt game again with their latest release of fa*ge BestSelf Lactose-Free Greek Yogurt. If you have a lactose intolerance like I do, this will be music to your ears!! The BestSelf line is completely lactose free so that even those who are highly sensitive can now enjoy the thick creamy taste of fa*ge without any of the potential side effects. Plus, each small container serving of fa*ge BestSelf is packed with 15g of protein, 110 calories, and only 5g of sugar! I picked up a large 32oz carton of fa*ge BestSelf Plain Greek yogurt and have 4 delicious yogurt bowl recipes shared below that I know you’ll love.

Strawberry Banana Yogurt Bowl

1 cup fa*ge BestSelf Plain Yogurt
1 small banana, sliced
2-3 strawberries
1/2 cup oats + honey granola
1/4 tsp chia seeds

This yogurt bowl is a favorite in our house! The kids wake up asking for this bowl and I love that they’re getting a breakfast that’s packed with nutrients such as potassium and vitamin c from the strawberries and banana as well as protein and fiber from the chia seeds. The granola is a must-have finisher to add that bit of crunch!

Peanut Butter Blueberry Swirl

Greek Yogurt Bowl | Dallas lifestyle | Cute and Little (6)

1 cup fa*ge BestSelf Plain Yogurt
1 small banana, sliced
1/3 cup blueberries
1 T almond butter
1/4 cup paleo granola

I live for a good nut butter (I basically grew up on peanut butter sandwiches!) so of course I had to make a combination that includes a good serving of my favorite almond butter. This yogurt bowl is packed with antioxidants from the blueberries with a good serving of protein too that will be sure to keep you full for hours! If I’m ever feeling low on energy in the afternoons, a mini bowl of this yogurt bowl always hits the spot.

Pitaya Mango Bliss

Greek Yogurt Bowl | Dallas lifestyle | Cute and Little (7)

1 cup fa*ge BestSelf Plain Yogurt
1 cup mango (I used frozen here)
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 tsp pumpkin seeds
1/4 tsp shredded coconut

With a 5-year old daughter who loves all things pink, you better believe I had to get creative and make a pink yogurt bowl! The secret here is to defrost a dragon fruit smoothie packet and swirl it into the fa*ge yogurt to create a beautifully vibrant bowl that also packs a punch with nutrients. The dragon fruit tastes like a cross between a kiwi and a pear, so adding some mango and coconut flakes add to the tropical vibe while the blueberries give it a subtle hint of tartness to balance it out. This is a bowl that’ll have you dreaming of a vacation for sure!

Coco Matcha Berry

Greek Yogurt Bowl | Dallas lifestyle | Cute and Little (8)

1 cup fa*ge BestSelf Plain Yogurt
2-3 tsp matcha powder
1 cup raspberries
1/3 cup vanilla granola
1 T coconut flakes
1/4 tsp chia seeds

I’ve been on a matcha kick lately as it’s a great caffeine alternative, is loaded with antioxidants that prevent chronic disease, and even help in weight loss. I wanted to create a bowl that would be a great breakfast option for those mornings when I may need an extra caffeine kick. I add in some raspberries to add some tartness, vanilla granola for a little crunch, and coconut flakes for that refreshing finish!

Feel free to get creative when it comes to making your yogurt bowls — these are just a few combinations that I’ve been loving but yogurt bowls are such an easy way to have some fun! And for those moments when you may not be in the mood for a crazy yogurt bowl concoction, try one of the blended yogurt options in the fa*ge BestSelf lineup — flavors include peach (my favorite!), blueberry, vanilla, and strawberry!
