She was born September 4, 1911, in Grayson Co. KY, to the late Lawrence and Laura (Mudd) Higdon. She served a term as Deputy Grayson Co. Court Clerk in Leitchfield KY, and later retired from Enro Shirt Co. She was a member of St.

Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Carrie was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell H. Skaggs and Earl T. Park; a son, Harold Skaggs; grandson, Russell Clemons; sister, Loretta Decker; and five brothers, James, Anthony, Harold, Robert and Donald Higdon. She is survived by her two sons, James Skaggs (Joyce), and Carroll Skaggs; daughter, Elizabeth Clemons (Norman) all of Louis- ille; three sisters, Thelma Clemons Elizabethtown, Rub Mitsch of Louisville and Dorothy Lush, hom she raised as her own; and one brother, Mitchell Higdon Rushville, IN; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great- grandchildren; nieces, hom were also caregivers, Carolyn Hawke and Rub Decker; and several other nieces, nephews and friends.

RHEA, HELEN CLAY 90, Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Thonson Hood Veterans Center in Lexington, KY. She was born June 24, 1915, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, to the late Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Shannon.

She was a former Registered Nurse for Kosair Children's Hospital, she served her community and her country for over 67 ears, she was a U.S. A rmy World War II eteran, a member Hebron Presbyterian Church and was active in grade school and high school P.T.A. in ROLLINS, JESSIE SHERMAN 96, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2005, at her residence. She was a native Louisville, the former Jessie Sherman Coles, a homemaker and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Ray Rollins.

She is survived by her three daughters, June incent, Eleanor Fisher and Jean Lane; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- granddaughter. Sister Mary Rachel as a music teacher and taught in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio. She was also certified as a guidance counselor. From 1968-2000 Sister served at Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, and was inv olved in many professional activities in the surrounding area. She is survived by her Sisters in the Congregation of the Sisters Charity of Nazareth, and is mourned former students and professional associates. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 :30 a.m.

A graduate of the University Louisville's Speed Scientific School and Navy ROTC Program, A ddison served aboard a destroyer during the Korean War, and continued to serve in the Naval Reserves until his retirement with the rank of Commander. A registered Professional Engineer, Addison orked for a number of firms around Louis- ille, most recently VITOK Engineers, Inc. Well-respected in his profession, he was named the Kentuck Society of Professional Engineers' "Engineer the Year" for 1981-82. Addison had a div erse set of hobbies, including genealogy, heraldry, history and navigation. He also maintained a life-long love of Amateur Radio, earning his Extra Class license.

As a "Ham Addison orked a number countries around the orld. Most recently, he was a member the "Tin Can Sailor's Net" as one of the Nav alumni that served on the U.S.S. Walke. Addison was a member of The Filson Club Historical Society and Speed Museum, as well as a former member the Conversation Club, National Society Professional Engineers, and the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers. His parents, Addison Escott Smith and Flo A rmentrout Smith, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his ife of 47 years, Maynette Bailey; daughters, Maynette Smith and Allison Jones; sons-in-law, Brian Jones and Leonard Duncil; grandsons, Addison Bailey, Bryce Jones and Ethan Duncil; brother, Vance Smith; nephew, Emmett "Win" Smith; and niece, Holly Davenhall.
