Every #TXST student that graduated last weekend was presented with a challenge coin, commemorating their achievement and signifying that no matter where life takes them, they are always part of the Bobcat family. This exciting tradition introduced last year by Kelly Damphousse now has an alumni counterpart. This limited-edition release of alumni challenge coins is exclusively available through Texas State University Alumni. To celebrate spring grads, donations of $50+ in the month of May will receive an alumni challenge coin as a token of our appreciation.Meet the challenge to support student scholarships and alumni programs for a network of more than 230,000 Bobcats. Through Staci’s work with Jim, I learned so much about the chemistry program and water research at Texas State University. Jim is an outstanding Bobcat that combined his professional career, service to his community and passion for the outdoors to do something truly exceptional for our students and the future of our state. I had the privilege of visiting Jim’s home and loved seeing Ann Nell and Jim’s diplomas framed together and proudly displayed next to their Texas State University Alumni life member plaques. I am so proud of Staci Cooper and her collaborative work across campus to honor Jim’s goal to create these two very special new endowments. Thank you Jim! #txst

Great Friday field trip to discuss a potential collaboration with Texas Hill Country Provisions, owned by Texas State University Alumni Madison Wickham and co-founder Chris M. Sica. They conceptualized this company around a backyard fire pit during COVID - and now their products are sold in 140 retailers. #TXST
